Program Focus:

SEED offers an intensive early intervention preschool program designed for students ages three and above. Students are grouped according to their developmental levels, strengths, and needs. Careful consideration is given in assigning children to the least restrictive environment. The program is designed to help children develop communication, speech/language, social, pre-academic, and motor skills to prepare them for future school success.

Services are provided based on the assessment and recommendations made by the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team, which includes special education teachers, occupational therapists, behaviorists, and speech-language pathologists. The strategies identified to meet the individual instructional goals and objectives of each child are implemented on a daily basis.

A collaborative service delivery model is used by all professionals. Students work with Early Childhood Specialists in a smaller environment.  They also have opportunities for interaction with typically developing preschool age students through our Preschool Friends Program.
